I’m Fran, someone who always has a camera in hand and a deep curiosity about the world.

I first fell in love with photography at eighteen, just after leaving home to work at a summer camp in Michigan. When the season ended, I travelled for a month around the US with my camera, and I was instantly hooked.

Twelve years later, having visited more than fifty countries, that same passion still shapes everything I do. I’ve lived and worked in mountain towns in the French Alps, in royal palaces in the Middle East, and aboard some of the world’s most luxurious yachts.  Now, from the UK to living on Vancouver Island, BC in Canada.

Along the way, I’ve picked up fragments of many languages, developed a soft spot for Highland cows, and gained a deep appreciation for people’s quirks, their stories, and the ways they connect to the places they love.

I love blending into the background, observing and documenting moments that would otherwise go missed. Whether I’m photographing a wedding or simply taking in a moment, I aim to just stay present.
